SonFlow SFB brazed plate heat exchangers are compact, permanently sealed plate heat exchangers designed for applications where efficient heat transfer is required in limited installation space. The gasket-free copper-brazed construction reduces leakage risk when the unit is correctly selected and operated within the specified working parameters.
The SFB series (SFB10, SFB20, SFB25, SFB30, SFB50, SFB60, SFB80 and SFB100) is suitable for heating and cooling systems, HVAC installations, heat pumps, refrigeration systems, glycol applications and industrial processes. The final model selection depends on the operating data, fluids, flow rates, temperatures, pressure and connection requirements.

Compact copper-brazed construction for
SonFlow SFB series
SonFlow SFB brazed plate heat exchangers are built from a pack of stainless steel plates with a specially profiled surface. A thin copper foil is placed between the plates and melts during the vacuum brazing process, sealing the unit into a compact, permanently closed construction ready for heat transfer processes.
The profiled plates create a large heat transfer area within a compact volume. This allows heat to be transferred between two fluids flowing through separate channels without mixing. Each unit is configured according to the operating conditions, required system parameters and connection requirements.

SonFlow SFB brazed plate heat exchangers product line
SonFlow SFB100 series includes the SFB101 brazed plate heat exchanger. It represents the largest option in the SonFlow SFB line and is suitable for large industrial systems requiring increased heat transfer surface area.
SonFlow SFB80 series includes the SFB81 brazed plate heat exchanger. The series is suitable for larger HVAC systems and industrial applications requiring increased heat transfer surface area and flanged connections.
SonFlow SFB60 series includes the SFB61 brazed plate heat exchanger. The series is a proven bestseller in the SonFlow SFB line and a direct replacement for SL140 by dimensions and connections.
SonFlow SFB50 series includes the SFB51 brazed plate heat exchanger with 2″ connection size. Preferred by installers for replacing existing heat exchangers without modifications to the installation.
SonFlow SFB30 series includes the SFB31 and SFB32 brazed plate heat exchangers. Widely used for HVAC, heat pumps and cooling. Direct equivalent to SL34 and SL70 by dimensions and connections.
SonFlow SFB25 series includes TL, TM and TK brazed plate heat exchanger configurations. Available from stock for HVAC, heat pump and industrial applications, as well as replacement projects and spare units.
SonFlow SFB20 series includes the SFB21 and SFB22 brazed plate heat exchangers. Selected configurations are available from stock for HVAC, heating and cooling applications in compact thermal systems.
Brazed Heat Exchanger SFB10
SonFlow SFB10 series includes the SFB18 and SFB19 brazed plate heat exchangers. The smallest series in the SonFlow SFB line, suitable for compact installations and applications with limited installation space.
