Brazed plate heat exchanger for large HVAC and industrial systems
The SonFlow SFB80 series is part of the SonFlow range of brazed plate heat exchangers and includes the SFB81 model. It is designed for large HVAC, heating, cooling, refrigeration and industrial systems where compact dimensions and DN80 / 3″ flange connections are required.
SFB81 is available with a design pressure of 16 bar or 25 bar and TL, TM or TK plate corrugation. The configuration is selected according to the fluids, temperatures, flow rates, allowable pressure drop and flange connection requirements.
The construction uses copper brazing and has no replaceable gaskets. The heat exchanger is built from corrugated AISI 316 stainless steel plates, which are brazed with copper in a vacuum process. The resulting plate pack provides a large heat transfer surface within compact overall dimensions.
SFB81 is available with TL, TM or TK plate corrugation, selected according to the application and operating conditions. The DN80 / 3″ flange connections are available in PN16 or PN25 and can be arranged as paired connections on a common oval flange plate or as individual compact flanges. These options allow the connection arrangement to be matched to the installation requirements and piping configuration.
SFB81 can be used in both new installations and as a replacement for an existing heat exchanger when the overall dimensions, flange connections and operating parameters are compatible.
