The SonFlow SFB60 series is part of the SonFlow SFB range of brazed plate heat exchangers and includes the SFB61 model. The SFB61 is used for liquid-to-liquid heat transfer in professional HVAC, refrigeration, heat pump, heating, cooling and industrial applications where compact dimensions, suitable configuration and operation within defined parameters are important.
The construction is copper-brazed and gasket-free. The heat exchanger is built with corrugated AISI 316 stainless steel plates in TL, TM or TK profile options, brazed with copper in a vacuum process. This creates a compact and permanently sealed plate pack with a large heat transfer surface in relation to the overall dimensions of the unit.
Heat exchangers from the SFB60 series can be used both in new installations and for replacement of existing units. They are available with design pressure options of 16 bar, 25 bar and 40 bar, several connection types and plate profile options TL, TM or TK, depending on the application.
SonFlow SFB61 matches the overall dimensions and connection layout of SL140 under corresponding operating parameters. This makes it a practical option when replacing an existing SL140 where maintaining the existing installation dimensions and connections is required.
