SonFlow SFB18 and SFB19 brazed plate heat exchangers
The SonFlow SFB10 series includes two individual models: SFB18 and SFB19. They are intended for professional HVAC, heating, cooling, heat pump, refrigeration and industrial applications where compact dimensions and operation at specifically defined parameters are important.
The models have a design pressure of 25 bar, a temperature range from −100°C to +185°C and ¾″ or 1″ threaded connections. SFB18 is available with TL and TXL plate profiles, while SFB19 is available with the TK plate profile. The appropriate model and configuration are selected according to the technical parameters of the application.
The units have a copper-brazed construction without replaceable gaskets. They are manufactured from embossed AISI 316 stainless steel plates, copper-brazed in a vacuum process. The resulting plate pack provides a large heat transfer surface relative to the overall dimensions of the unit.
SFB18 and SFB19 are configured individually and are available with 11, 15, 21, 31, 41, 51, 61, 71, 81, 91 or 101 plates. The selection of model, plate profile and number of plates depends on the fluids, flow rates, inlet and outlet temperatures, required heat duty and allowable pressure drop.

The stated design pressure and temperature range are design limits of the models and are not sufficient for selecting a heat exchanger. The allowable pressure–temperature combination must be verified for the specific configuration.
